About me

I'm Sofia, a game designer in my final year at Abertay University, studying Game Design and Production.

I enjoy analysing and designing game systems to learn how video games communicate both their mechanics and thematic elements to the player.

I try to play games from various genres to expand my knowledge and find the enjoyment in something I wouldn't normally be drawn to. Some of my favourite games are Papers, Please, Dishonored, Frostpunk 2 and Split Fiction. I also like multiplayer competitive shooter games. At the moment I'm obsessed with The Finals and its fast-paced chaotic action.

When I'm not gaming, I spend my time reading anything I can get my hands on. Also, working out is a big part of my daily routine since it keeps me consistent and active.
